I never thought there would ever be a time where I'd actually miss school. But this year's been fantastic. I've been goig to this art school for writing, and everything's so chill there that I actually felt that it was worth getting up in the morning for. I haven't felt that way about any place since preschool.

I basically spent the school day in the lit room, where a bunch of us watched the first Harry Potter movie and ate all this unhealthy food that we'd brought in. Our teacher was signing passes for people that I don't think he'd previously met, but I don't think he minded. We all just got the projector working, and dragged all the couches into a semicircle so we could all see it. Like the freaky nerds we are, we ended up giving in to temptation and drawing lightning bolts on our foreheads with eyeliner. I'm not sure why. I think the memories of all the midnight parties we'd attended were too much for us.

But that's the thing, see. Without school, I don't know what I'm going to do with myself. I'll enjoy sleeping in until noon, but the moment I wake up, I'm probably just end up sitting there wondering if I can go back and hang out with my friends in the lit room again. Look. Summer can be interesting. But not as interesting as a school that has late showings of Back to the Future that are met with the sort of enthusiasm seen with the likes of Rocky Horror. You can't beat that.

I'm just thankful that a whole group of my friends and I are going to see the new Harry Poter movie this summer. I'm going as Luna, and I think my friend's going to be Ginny. The other two are still fighting over who's going to be Bellatrix...

Oh, well. I've got another day to get over this, I guess. I just have to hope that H and I can have that slumber party next week.
